Yellow | Day 184, originally uploaded by Adam Fick.

Mom’s flower garden was still in full bloom when I was home, but the first 5 days were way to windy to attempt any sort of macro photography, and finally on Fridday the wind died right down so I went out and got a whole bunch of macro shots with the 105mm F2.8 VR & tripod

Half way done the 366 Project
Catching up on posting some pics that I took last week
It was harvest season back home, most of the fields where either being harvested or had been harvested, made for some nice pics
I’ve got plenty more pics to come from this set and a few other sets, but getting caught up on 366 is priority right now!

Posted in Project 366 on August 26, 2008 by abfick

This one is all smiles just about all the time, Quinn, she is just one happy baby, and she will be a little happier when she can get the whole rolling over and crawling thing figured out

Kiskatinaw Bridge | Day 180, originally uploaded by Adam Fick.

The old Alaska Highway used to cross this wooden bridge, and its pretty amazing, it has a 9 degree curve in it, and is contructed completely from wood, which for some reason makes it seem completely unstable, but in all reality its quite stable and in very good shape for its age (constructed in 1942)
